Leadership
A leader is a person who is willing to respond to the need for change, to lead and inspire others around them by their integrity, their giving and their friendship.
The leader is not always the boss. The leader is someone who will take responsibility for the team and what it aims to produce. Leadership in business is the person who is prepared to parent a group of people, deal with conflicts that arise, reassess and reset objectives and strategies and develop a marketable profitable product, The by -product that has led to this effectiveness is a cohesive team.
Leaders can be mothers, fathers, business people or anyone who is prepared to rise to the challenge of helping.
We teach leadership skills using an exceptional programme written by an amazing man called Jeff Allen. The programme is called Steps to Leadership. It consists of 27 modules of 3 hours each, plus 3 workshops. The programme covers developing the skills to lead a family, a business or an association of people. It inspires and stimulates you to develop intuitive or gut instinct skills. It also teaches the value of commitment, conflict resolution, how to get on with anyone, the ability to support others and the ability to be flexible with people.
